This is a very critical position, for Broctagon's strategic initiatives, and you will be responsible for running the entire infrastructure for our product line. Key Responsibilities Areas:
- Lead a team of DevOps engineers Design, plan, execute on projects and deliverables Manage web applications, desktop applications and deployment in all environment, by using automated deployment methodologies
- Participate in design reviews and contribute towards building scalable and extensible architectures
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design best strategy for deployment, debug issues in production
- Develop and implement the backup policy, set up tools for testers and continuous integration Set up deployment tools
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years of overall experience in the IT industry
- 7+ years experience working on deployment, automation, monitoring and operational aspects of Web Applications, based on different enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience in development and deploying software in Public (AWS) and/or Private cloud environment Familiarity with AWS services like DynamoDB, Redshift, Lambda, ELB, ECS and their limitations
- Hands-on experience with Databases (SQL/NoSQL): Primarily Hadoop eco system, and some optional experience in Cassandra, MongoDB, InfluxDB Experience running Brokers in production like Kafka Experience in Zookeeper cluster management, experience with AWS big data infrastructure Knowledge of various deployment strategies like blue-green, canary etc.
- Strong experience in setting up and managing 'Pre-Production and Production' environment
- Strong experience with deploying Node.JS, PHP, Java, .Net applications
- Strong experience in implementing continuous integration using various tools
- Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix environment and scripting languages: Shell, Perl, Python Strong experience in GIT and parallel development, branching strategies and methodologies Strong in writing deployment automation/orchestration scripts
- Ability to understand OOPS principle Experience in monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix and Graffana Strong communications, analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Docker container and container orchestration (ECS, kubernetes) Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform)
